Faith McQuinn
Faith McQuinn
Raised in Franklin, Tenn., Faith McQuinn has spent more than half her life preparing for a career in film. In the eighth grade, she wrote and directed her first short. In high school, she wrote a short film that was recognized by the Director’s Guild of America, directed a one-act stage play, and could always be found behind a camera catching great moments with her friends.
Choosing a college that had no film major, Faith decided to pursue a degree in creative writing. While attending Western Kentucky University, she discovered a love of editing and directing. She made two music videos and six short films--three of which won awards at the Western Kentucky Film Festival in 2000 and 2001.
Following a year of working on live television and independent films, Faith went back to school and received her MFA in Film Production from Chapman University in Orange, Calif.
After finishing school, Faith worked in post-production at various production houses in LA and Orange County. Feeling the need to return to her Southern roots, Faith moved back to Tennessee where she works as a freelance video editor and part-time film instructor in Nashville.
I edit.
I write.
I sometimes direct.
I love to tell a great story.
